First thing you need to do is sand down the pegs that hold the ships to the board. Nearly all! My son had cracked his board twice before I saw what was happening. The pegs that mark shots taken are fine. He likes it.

Excellent product, just like the original when I was a child. I now play copious hours with my daughter. The newer battleship games have sound which my annoy me and my daughter. I like the zippered case that the game is placed in. It protects the game from any accidents. I had been looking forever to find this original game specifically around last Christmas and was unable to locate it, not even on ebay.

I bought this for my 5yr old son and he loves it. I thought the smaller size would be ideal to reduce clutter plus it’s great that it zips up, so if pieces get loose they don’t get lost.

We love battleship, and we travel quite frequently, so we thought this would be great, but it’s sort of hard to play. You are really close to each other. It the game is slightly elevated it isn’t a problem, but if it’s on a table between you, you can see right over at the other person’s board. I was hoping this would replace our at home version, and be a fun travel, but we will still play our at home version while at home, as we can sit further apart.

Quality wise, I have no problems.
